Events for 2010-11
Part of the mission of the Foundation is to keep alumni and friends connected to the school, and to that end, we sponsor or co-sponsor many events each year.
Fall 2010
Fall Festival (Friday, October 8th from 4-8 PM on the school grounds) Alumni and friends enjoy international food, spectacular music and entertainment, and games and crafts, while mingling with old friends.
Reunion Weekend (October 8th-10th) The Classes of 1995, 2000, and 2005 will celebrate reunions this year. All reunion classes are invited to Foundation events, including a Friday night reception at Bottom's Up Pizza and a Saturday afternoon Open House with Faculty at Maggie Walker. Individual classes will organize Saturday evening banquets.
Winter 2010-11
Alumni Holiday Reception (Sunday 26 December from 5:30-7:30 PM) location TBD.
Alumni Open House (Tuesday 4 January from 3:30 to 5:30 PM) at Maggie L. Walker. All Governor's School teachers and alumni are invited, with a special invitation to the Class of 2010.
Spring 2011
Night of the Dragon Auction (Saturday 5 March from 6 to 10 PM) location and details TBD.
